Concept

How to support women to access and manage data around their health when cases of urinary tract infections?

Bliss is a wearable personal assistant designed to support people dealing with recurrent cystitis, a condition that is often invisible but can deeply affect quality of life, especially for active young women.

Desk research: up to 50–60% of women will experience at least one UTI during their lifetime Primary research: survey with 22 participants and interviews with 3 women with recurrent cystitis

Data

70% of interviewees were diagnosed with cystitis, split into acute, recurrent and interstitial 83.5% support more public awareness; 64.3% are interested in digital tools for cystitis

The prototyping process focused on developing a functional physical object capable of enabling basic interaction flows between the user and a voice agent.
